Copyright and responsible downloads
A video being publicly viewable does not automatically mean it may be reused or redistributed. Check rights and permissions before saving or sharing a copy.
Save content you are allowed to keep
The safest use is saving your own video or content whose creator has given permission. A creator's public post may still contain copyrighted music, footage, artwork, or other people's likenesses.
Downloading is not permission to repost
A downloaded file does not transfer copyright or grant a licence. Before reposting, editing, monetizing, or using a clip in an advertisement, verify the rights and any platform rules that apply.
Respect privacy and access limits
Do not use a downloader to obtain private material, evade access controls, or spread sensitive content. Do not share temporary direct media URLs that may contain access-signing parameters.
Use the platform's own options when possible
If TikTok provides a save or share option appropriate for the video, consider using that route. Some creators disable downloads or restrict use, and those preferences should be respected.
Report a rights concern
If you believe content linked through Vepu.app infringes your rights, record the relevant public URL and contact the site operator through the Contact page. Do not include passwords or unrelated sensitive data in a report.
Vepu.app is independent
Vepu.app is not affiliated with or endorsed by TikTok. Availability of a media link is not a statement that the content is free of copyright or that reuse is authorized.
