VEPU.APP GUIDE

How to download TikTok videos on a PC

A desktop browser makes it easier to manage downloaded files, but availability depends on the post and the media provider. Use this guide only for videos you own or have permission to save.

1. Copy the original post link

Open TikTok in the app or a desktop browser, open the public post, and use its Share or Copy link action. Paste the link into a text editor first if you want to check that it is a complete URL. Do not include surrounding explanatory text. Private, removed, age-restricted, or region-restricted posts may not be available.

2. Open Vepu.app in your desktop browser

Visit Vepu.app using an up-to-date browser such as Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari on macOS. Paste the post link into the downloader field and ask for the available download options. Vepu.app passes the supported link to its configured third-party media provider; it does not guarantee that every public post will resolve.

3. Review the available file options

Choose an MP4 link only if it is actually listed. The provider may offer different versions, or it may not return a downloadable file at all. Do not assume that HD or watermark-free output exists for every video. If an option is missing, use a fresh post link and try again later rather than trusting a random mirror site.

4. Find the file on Windows or macOS

Most desktop browsers show a download indicator and keep a list of recent downloads. On Windows, the default location is usually the Downloads folder. On macOS, check the Downloads folder in Finder or the browser's downloads list. Your location may differ if you changed the browser's download preferences.

5. Troubleshoot a failed download

If the browser opens the media instead of saving it, use the browser's download control or its Save As option. If no file is returned, copy a fresh TikTok link, confirm the post is available in your region, and retry later. Temporary CDN URLs can expire, and third-party providers can limit requests or change their response format.

6. Keep files and accounts safe

Never enter your TikTok password, session cookies, or account credentials into a downloader. Scan unexpected files and avoid installers or browser extensions that claim to be required for a simple MP4 download. Save only content you own or are authorized to keep, and check the creator's rights before reposting or monetizing it.
