VEPU.APP GUIDE

How to save TikTok videos on iPhone

iOS handles downloads differently across versions and apps. These steps explain the usual workflow without promising that every post is downloadable.

1. Copy a supported TikTok link

In TikTok, open a public video you own or are authorized to save. Tap Share, then Copy link. A link to a private, deleted, or restricted post may not be resolvable.

2. Open Vepu.app in Safari

Open Safari and visit your Vepu.app website. Paste the TikTok post link and request the available download options. The media provider may return no file for certain videos, and short links may work for downloading even when an embed preview cannot be shown.

3. Save the file

Tap an available MP4 option. Depending on iOS and Safari, the file may download to the Files app, appear in Safari's downloads list, or open for playback. Use the share button to save to Files when that option is provided.

4. Check Files and available storage

In the Files app, check Downloads under iCloud Drive or On My iPhone, depending on your Safari settings. Large video files need enough free storage. The destination can differ if you changed Safari's download setting.

Troubleshooting

If no options appear, copy a fresh link and retry. Temporary CDN URLs expire, and provider outages can interrupt downloads. Update Safari or try again later before assuming the video is permanently unavailable.

Use downloads responsibly

Save only content you own or have permission to keep. A downloaded copy does not grant permission to repost, commercially reuse, or distribute somebody else's video.
